About Me

• I have worked as a fund accountant for a non-profit organization for over 10 years.
• I am a proud small business owner of two web sites: Church Accounting, and this site...basic accounting
• I have attended the same great church for over 36 years where I am a financial adviser.
• I live in the center of the beautiful state of Oklahoma in the United States.
• I have THE BEST husband in the world and three wonderful grown children. (My husband has just been recently diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. Would appreciate your thoughts and prayers. See our story)
• I also have five beautiful grandchildren. Of all of my accomplishments...being a grandma is the one I am most proud of.

As I stated before, I am a fund accountant for a nonprofit organization. I take care of their budget and expenditures.

My favorite part of my job is building accounting spreadsheets. I am constantly changing and trying to improve them...drives my boss crazy.

I have also built accounting spreadsheets for my church and via my church accounting website...have sent my spreadsheets to over 2000 churches and nonprofits in over 60 different countries worldwide.

So...when I started my own business...I of course...built my own spreadsheets.

They work pretty well if I do say so myself and I thought maybe more small business owners and web site owners might benefit from my free spreadsheets.

So I decided to build a site to do just that.

I used a wonderful company called

SiteSell or Site Build It (SBI)

They have all sorts of useful tools to help you build your dream and even take care of most of the maintenance on it.
